I'd have to say a man who could single-handedly cause all the damage he's been accused of in only eight months is a friggin' genius!

Kinda like when you don't understand how to read a post and get all up in arms about Obama's barrage balloon decisons, eh? I guess THAT would be NeoConfusion reigning.

Any adult, or otherwise, who thinks this economy is even close to good is smoking their New York Times.

Ya, do the repugs really think that the world didn't start until Obama was elected??? THEY obviously ARE that stupid but the rest of the country isn't.

They sound like whiney babies who need instant gratification...immature, spoiled brats.....or...people who would rather see this country fail than see Obama do some good for Americans...either way...sick and disgusting...and VERY Un-patriotic.

I don't understand how anyone could be happy with the way our economy is being handled. We could slip into a recession after a short recovery and our President is pushing for a public option. He should be making a case for a second stimulus plan while congress is hard at work figuring out a way to spend the rest of the stimulus money. The U.S. is losing more jobs everyday and we will probably continue to shed jobs well into 2011. Obama needs to get his priorities straight because we will all pay for his mistakes.

The economy was in BAD shape before Obama ever became President. Unfortunately this will probably be a very slow recovery.

Handling the economy is not the same question as how you think the economy is doing.

Considering his number USED to be in the high 60's and now he is hovering around 50% and
given that the poll has 15% more democrats than republicans....this is not something to be
crowing about.
Greeting's,

Absolutely Correct..... Regarding the current idiotic Washington
"Political Circus"..... the absolute last thing anyone needs is even
more frustration and confusion regarding "Polls"..... The present
dismal U.S. national economy is a "Prime Example" when you
incorporate the 15% more democrat than republican input.....

May we agree to diminish the much over-rated signifiance of the
never ending supply of "Political Polls"................

Thank You / L. F.

Of course the same folks are the one's that were crying, "let it fail, the markets will provide!"

Default What happened to cry, "Let Them Fail!"?

It seems like on a few months ago, there was a raft of post calling for the government to do nothing, to let the failing companies fail, to not provide any further safety nets for the public. Now it seems that the same coterie of posters are up in arms because the economy is still in the throes of an economic downturn. Shouldn't same group of people be trilled that the "markets" are still weeding out the weak and the inefficient? Why the change?
