Sure, it'd be easy, for me anyways. I'd just do what's right for the country, as opposed to pandering to the 1001 interests knocking on the White House door.
My agenda would be a simple one - run the country on a balanced budget. I'll let Congress draft any spending bill they wanted, but I'd only sign it under one condition - money in has to equal money out, no exceptions. Secondly, I'd end the foreign wars of aggression, bring our troops home (this would go a long ways to help balance the budget, wouldn't it?
), and put some of them along our southern border. Congress can decide what to do with the illegals already here, I'll just make sure no more are allowed across the border - to me, it's an issue of national security, and as President, I'd have that border sealed up tight. Thirdly, I'd attempt to get Congress to dump the Federal Reserve and take over the management of our own currency, just like the Constitution specifies.
All that other stuff, I'll leave it up to Congress to sort it out...as I'd be spending the rest of the time playing statesman, as any good President should. That doesn't sound too hard, does it?
