There are multiple definitions of prophet. The wording is different depending on which dictionary you use, but I think Dr. King would fall under one of these two categories from dictionary.com [ Prophet Definition | Definition of Prophet at Dictionary.com ]

7. a spokesperson of some doctrine, cause, or movement.

kids are praying to obama in public schools?

this thread is about people in a church supposedly praying to obama - based on a video with what many people are saying are misleading subtitles, misidentifying "o god" as "obama". i haven't watched the video so i can't judge for myself.
