Keep in mind the city itself needs to submit a bit. Denver did not. The U.S choices for 2016 were Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and San Francisco as well as a joint bid between San Diego & Tijuana. San Francisco dropped its bid due to stadium funding issues.

Chicago is broke along with it's infrastructure and violent to the point of the National Guard being considered to aid the corrupt P.D.
Who will the games bennefit besides uber corrupt Democrat Mayor Daley and his merry band of thieves?
It's beyond a joke to suggest as a venue.

I am aware of that. Someone asked what city I would choose and I answered. Geesh.

Have been in Atlanta many, many times without a problem at all.

Attended the largest gift show in the world the Atlanta Market Center for many years, never a problem at all.

Drive through it on the way to Florida and fly into it many times a year.

Atlanta is not on the list, but I would prefer it there again over Chicago any day.

You are right mommy but Valerie Jarrett wants to make a pile of money and can do so if Oba mao can swing the whole thing. I think the decision has been made or he wouldn't be going to act like he had anything to do with it.

I was the one who asked the question and I was just pointing out that Denver wasn't an option for 2016

One that the Chicago mob doesn't have so much influence would be very nice.

Good luck with that. Sounds like you might be having one of those near death experiences that you always had in Chicago in Atlanta real soon:

So does Valerie Jarrett, the Daly family and Oba mao's friend who is in prison now. The whole gang in the White House stands to make big money if Chicago can take the tax payers to the cleaners and hold that Olympics. How many millions of dollars do you think the city will find in its coffers after they get through building on Jarrette's properties.

You don't even know who Valerie Jarrett is. Why am I wasting my time.
