that is something to be proud of right?

Wall St connected Big whigs getting richer on more speculation.
Doing the exact same behaviors they did to get us in this mess in the first place, Only now its actually on our dime.

Making a point using the President as a reason the stockmarket is up 45% exhibits complete economic ineptitude.

Stock market down = Obama is an idiot
Stock market up = Obama is a crook

What do you all do on those days when the market is unchanged? Maybe you could invest that occasional free time in learning about what was actually in the stimulus bill...

Where did you pick up those sentiments? Is it the voices of Rachel Madcow and Keith Olbernmann?

So you admit the stimulus bill provides absolutely no support to the economy and to the millions of Americans who have lost their jobs. Thank you.

In the same way that it is inept to try to blame Obama for the drop in manufacturing output.

Besides a rising stock market has additional benefits for all citizens.
For example, pensions.
With the market rising, pension funds that have invested in the stock market can begin to recoup their losses suffered when the market
imploded between August 2008 and February 2009.

True, The point should be the lack of support from the stimulus. Which was passed by congress and cost us close to a trillion dollars.

I think retirment funds across the nation have become alot more conservative then they were say 15 years ago. I believe there will be a much smaller percentage tied to the stockmarket. At least for the next decade or so. That in turn will aid in keeping the market flat.
