I was wondering what you think about Dick Cheney's speeches, does he have any credability left?
I think for any of Dick Cheney's following speeches he should give his speech with clowns in the background. When Dick Cheney uses the word defeatist when he talks about Iraq some clowns in the background can squeeze their big red noses to make the speech atmosphere more entertaining
Do you believe anything this man says at all? He just seems to vomit non-sense when ever he gives a speech and its usually a similar speech each and everytime with different words but pretty much the same statement.
I think they are funny that he can absolutely give his speeches with a straight face. Its amazing does he really believe what he says.
He was one of the Iraq War's biggest cheerleaders from the beginning. Remember his speeches about the ramifications if we didnt invade Iraq back in 2002 and 2003.
At this point in time it seems like Dick Cheney's main purpose is to just give a speech or two just to be dramatic and raise the Democrats blood pressure or give some good-humored Democrats a big laugh.

Right now, Dick Cheney is the VP of the USA
Until someone votes him off the island, people will listen.

"My belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators." --March 16, 2003
"We know he's (Saddam Hussein) been absolutely devoted to trying to acquire nuclear weapons, and we believe he has, in fact, reconstituted nuclear weapons." --March 16, 2003
"In Iraq, a ruthless dictator cultivated weapons of mass destruction and the means to deliver them. He gave support to terrorists, had an established relationship with al Qaeda, and his regime is no more." -–Nov. 7, 2003
"I think they're in the last throes, if you will, of the insurgency." -- on the Iraq insurgency, June 20, 2005
When the guy isn't just outright lying, he's flat-out wrong. This entire Administration has no credibility left, and many of their mistakes could be laid at Cheney's feet.

Cheney's biggest accomplishment as a VP has been making Spiro Agnew look admirable.

Cheney has the same amount of credibility Al Gore and Dan Quayle. Zero. Its becoming quiet the common characteristic for VP's.

In Politics all it takes is a core group of supporters. When Dick Cheney leaves office he will be the first Vice President with lifetime Secret Service Protection. He will also make tons of money from Conservative Groups doing speeches and writing books.

As for secret service protection, what other vice presidents have had assassination attempts? And considering Cheney's health issues, we are probably talking about a few years at most. Its not like he's 50 and in vigorously good health.
The book writing and money making from party supporters is something both sides cash in on. This hardly makes Cheney any different.
