Never mind that the topic of this thread is Iran (which could just as easily be developing a nuclear armory because they haven't forgotten that it was Iraq--not Israel--that invaded their territory).

And you should drop that evasive attitude. "Certain people?" Whom, exactly, do you mean by that?

Iran says the same thing, and that's why they seek them. Israel wants to attack Iran, not the other way around. Just think about it, the USA (big Israel lobby) is already on both sides of Iran (Iraq to the west, Afghanistan to the east). Iran will ultimately get the deterrent, I think that's a given. They do sorely need it to protect themselves from an Israeli attack.

I'm guessing it's the Israel Lobby and AIPAC, you can read about them in Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer's excellent and meticulously footnoted book.

No, Iran is not saying that. They are saying they are not building a nuke, but now we know they lied.

Some have known all along they were lying. Some didn't care, didn't listen and didn't believe.

Israel has done wrong. There is blame on all sides.

Does the crime of gov't leaders on all sides justify the people being removed from the face of the earth?

Iran is the only one speaking thus. Israel has a right to its homeland.

That said they havn't been wise in cutting off water and sustinance to the Palestinians.
