Greeting's,

Indeed NVplumber's Post is well within the mark !!!

It is..... "Deeply Troubling"..... to realize that even in the midst
of all the devastating national and global problems facing the
United States..... It appears most likely that the powerful
influences of the "Special Interests" factions continue to
"Trump"..... the rightful influences of the American Citizens.

The "Political Circus" in Washington D.C. continues to resemble
the much dreaded "Stuff"... That "Nightmares" are made of !

The "Patriotic Citizens" of this great nation desperately needs
to serve an overwhelming "Notice" to those "Opportunists
Special Interests Groups"..... entrenched within the
Washington D.C. career politician ranks... "To Vacate The
Premises Immediately"......

The American People Deserve Much.... Much Better" .....

Thank You / L.F.

It seems that many still think that particular special interests are at fault. I was trying to convey that all special interests are the cause of our problems. The warfare state is as evil as the welfare state. The corporations are as evil as the unions. The majority interests are as evil as the minority interests. Allowing any legislation with a targeted beneficiary group only serves to factionalize the American populace.

Now while it may be fun to only point out the special interests with which we disagree, like big business, it does not legitimize our acceptance of government catering to our own pet interests. I really wasn't looking to find out what people thought were "good" or "bad" special interests. I wanted to know if people realized that government power to legislate in favor of any special interest will lead to the eventual demise of our country.

The people are at "war" with their fellow Americans. As we take turns abusing each other through government force the animosity will only continue to escalate amongst us. If we continue to grant centralized government an ever growing consolidation of power to harm those with whom we disagree the end result is not in question. One side or the other will eventually be pushed beyond any reasonable alternative then all out violent rebellion.

It would seem that there are only three possible scenarios going forward. One, is we continue to be warring paupers as we now are, ceding ever more power to government to further our own special interests until groups of people are exterminated through government force. Two, proceed as above, but before widespread extermination of groups by government, we break out into (un)civil war or outright anarchy and break up into splinter nations. Three, we sieze the final opportunity as a people to wrest the power away from centralized government to oppress people at the whim of special interest. The first two are the only options if we continue the way that we are going, neither of which will have any resemblance to the society that we once were.
