Cheating on your wife isn't illegal, either.

No, the courts don't make the decision about it. Where common law marriages are recognized, the requirements are clearly spelled out. Two people do not become married in common law unless they present themselves as married. Living together for years doesn't automatically make you married whether you want to be or not. Clearly neither of these people put themselves forth as being married prior to their actual marriage.

They didn't "out" Letterman's affairs - he freely admitted to them. This story claims to know the details of a messy divorce --- common and, most of the time, false or inaccurate fodder for Enquirer fans.
Yes, they do. They have become more respected since they led on the Simpson murder case.

They live in Connecticut, and Connecticut does not recognize common law marriage. It will not take a court to figure this out.

Letterman is a Democrat, that is obvios and common knowlege

The bigger question is, when a conservative cheats on his wife and the so called "non judgemental" libs rip him for it do you feel the same way?
Hmmmm. Interesting that John McCain chose David Letterman's show for his announcement that he would be running for President.

Nice state in a modern world. Who said woman should be protected? No wandering that Letterman choose this state to be a resident, maybe woman should be always at risk even after they had babies/kids with one man.

What a joke state / law.

But then after Wall street crash, McCain pull himself out of the Letterman show for an interview one month before the final election. I remembered Letterman said "If you don't show up in my show, you won't be the next president". He seems correct in this incidence.

Not sometime, lots of times. He's been on Letterman at least 13 times. Seems to like it there. Maybe it's the cheating thing.....two of a kind.
