So many family members are fighting over there and abandoned by this government....Obama needs to either get out or send troops...this is suicide! We don't want more of our man and woman get killed over there....just because this inexperienced president can't make a decision....shouldn't the generals on the ground over there know what needs to be done, and Obama listen to them....JMO!
Convential forces are always at a disadvantage fighting native irregular forces, the average Talibani has no idea where Washington is much less what goes on there.
If people are concerned over family members,as they should be, advise them to stay home .
More and more people sign up for the army...and not just over here. It is logical since the unemployement is very high and for many it is an easy way to get a job, without realizing that they can be sent to not so safe places....can you blame people for trying to get a job in todays economy.
Is it too much to ask from now a "Nobel Peace prize winner" to act and do what is in the best interest of our troops!
This has nothing to do with Dem. or Rep. but with our hero's over there and their safety...either pull them out or provide what the generals are asking for!
What i fear is that wit the war in afganistan we are seeing a return to the keenedy whiz kids that decided that X number of bullets expended meant X number of enemy killed ;so put the M16 into serve early. Politcial decison on how to be popular and get reelected rather than how to succeed. I saw Obama say one thing in the campaign but fail comp[letely to lead on this sice and now seem to waffle because his view is not popular.
