You cant win a peace prize for "wanting" something that you haven't accomplished, nor should you be able to win for giving people hope and not proving that the hope is warranted.

Sure you can. He can and he did. It's the Nobel's award and they can give it to whomever they want for whatever reason they want. If they choose to make political statements with the award, that's their right. It's their award to give.

Except Mujaheddin was an enemy of the Taliban, that is why Afghanistan fell into Civil War after the US pulled the plug on their funding.. Bill Clinton revived funding for the Taliban in order to stabilize Afghanistan for a new American oil pipeline, hence the retaliatory bombings by Osama and his old Mujaheddin..
