It was a story about JP Morgan Chase getting incredible influence over the government with a lot of lobbying efforts... It was about Mr. Diamond being treated like a king by Dems and Repubs... It was about the taxpayers paying for THEIR losses and they keep all the gains... It was about the complete LACK OF ANY FINANCIAL REFORM... did you know that the creation of the Consumer Protection agency was pretty much killed by politicians (and yes, even with a SUPER-MAJORITY by democrats)... President Obama is also a big stockholder in JP Morgan Chase... life is wonderful with corporatism isn't it? And yet their CEOs are still making millions for failure and rubber stamped for approval with the government's Pay Czar....

It was good, but didn't go far enough - there's much more to what's going on. It's absolutely sickening who this country has voted into office, and who has lead roles in this debacle.
It was a damned good program, one I'm going to toss onto a DVD for politically minded guest.

I think one of the points was that it didn't matter which side or who was voted in, the result is the same. Political leadership in America seems to be more and more something hanging on a shelf with a price tag on it.

Absolutely! Corruption has been given a warmly welcome place at both R's and D's tables. It's sickening!
Criticism of the big banks is certainly part of the story of the 2008 financial meltdown. And of course Mr. Moyers is all over the story, at least part of it.
He carefully edits out how he was part of the liberal establishment criticizing the banks for not lending to low-income people and that sub-prime loans were a major part of the crisis.
Nor does Mr. Moyers fess up the the part that Fanny and Freddy played in the crisis or the extent to which big-named liberals (including then Senator Obama) played in blocking the Bush Administration's efforts to regulate these quasi-government lenders.
Typically, Mr. Moyers carefully selects the facts he presents.
