South Carolina's lieutenant governor says embattled Gov. Mark Sanford needs to resign.

Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer said at a news conference Wednesday that if Sanford steps down, he will renew his offer to stay out of the 2010 gubernatorial race. Sanford's term ends in January 2011.

Problem is Andre is even crazier (albeit in a different way) than Mark is:

See, Andre (former car dealer) does not believe the government has the right to tell you how fast you can drive.

Thusly ignoring all speed limits, he is frequently pulled over.
The last time he did not stop; had to be forced off the road by the state patrol.

It's the water down there.

And the gene pool.

If they cut a deal, they need to get it in writing, preferably signed in blood.

Hmm, TX has a governor that doesn't think the DPS has the right to pull him over and ticket him either. Of course he got the gov's job when the idiot holding it got "bumped upstairs".

I've heard that it's because of this guy that the R controlled lege doens't want to impeach Sanford.

Sanford says he's not going anywhere, and that the people of the state want to put this behind them.

He didn't expound on how the people of the state were involved except that there hasn't been a torchlight parade with pitchforks yet so he figures he got away with the whole affair.

Here's the story from the local paper:

I was born in Chahlestun, SaKalina.

As for the water,

South Carolina dumps more proven carcenogens (measured in pounds) into its waters than does any other state.

Truth is South Carolina is one of the few warrior dominated, and thus male controlled, cultures in the West.
