Yeah, "sounds like." Do you know what he actually did or are you just assuming?

Doesn't matter what he did. Appearances are everything, this certain has the appearance and he did nothing to dissuade the idea. Only question in my mind is "straight or gay?" And I have my assumption about that, too.

In this house, my wife and my daughter always watch these pageants. And they also listen to Rush every chance they get (which is almost daily).

I introduced my wife to Rush back in 1990, I think it was, when I stumbled on his show while flipping across the radio dial. I had no idea who he was at first, but I told my wife, "You've got to hear this guy... he thinks like we do, and he's on the radio!" (Or something like that). Talk radio was still in it's infancy back then, and most didn't talk about the news or politics.

We've been listening ever since.

There couldn't have been a better pick for a judge for this great pageant.

You obviously do not listen to Rush, so you cannot honestly comment on what you "think" he might have said.

If you listened, you would know the context of such "quotes", and would realize that Rush, though he discusses issues seriously, also uses humor very effectively.

Rush is not the "slimy, sexist pig" you call him. Quite the contrary. But, you wouldn't know. You only know what you hear, or think you hear, or what someone else has told you. That's a poor basis for a judgement of a person, wouldn't you say? You wouldn't know about the thousands of women that call his show, who express there appreciation for what he does. Women love him. He is in an enviable position.

Finally, he was invited to judge. What does that say about your opinion?
"""provided the context of these "quotes"""""

LOL!!! My GAWD! Did you read those quotes ??

They stand on their own, there is NO context that can make them right.

Oh, and women loved Charles Manson, too, so that argument doesn't work either....there's just as many stupid women as there are stupid men....it's equality

Better yet we could repeal the 17th Amendment. The founding fathers never meant for the Senate to be elected. It was supposed to represent the State Governments.

If you never watch anyway, who cares if you aren't watching this one?

These women love doing what they do, including "strut[ting] around in a bikini in front of the judges.

You are very judgemental, aren't you? You don't even know Rush or listen to his show. Yet you call him a "nasty pig". Typical leftist. That's what you people do best, is it not? We know which party is the party of personal destruction, and hate. Many of them post right here on C-D.

Oh, I beg to differ! Ted Kennedy!

How much would you like to bet that these "girls" (I'm not so sure the term "women" fits, as it usually implies an amount of maturity) would love to have Ted Kennedy sit in judgement of them "strutting" (as the one poster put it) around in a bikini?

Ted Kennedy is dead. Being judged by a dead man would indeed be creepy.
