The answer to that question is easy: It makes him a lot of money.

I don't know where Al Sharpton gets off telling who should be able to go in on buying a team. At least Rush made his money legally, pays taxes, not waiting ten years, and is not under investigation like Rev. Al was.
One eyed jack is right. Keith Olbermann can be just as goofy as the rest of them on his own turf with his MSNBC show at night. At least he is not going into tirades about his views on the NBC pregame, but he will drop a few one liners because he knows he can.

So... If Limbaugh had become an NFL commentator, that would just mean there would be more than one idiot blow-hard in the booth. It wouldn't be the first time.

Also, I think somebody brought up an excellent point about Al Sharpton and his total lack of commentary on Michael Vick. Gotta wonder what he'd be saying if Vick was a white man.

Anyway, Limbaugh is apparently out of this investor group that's trying to buy the Rams. I guess they solved their own problem.

As much as I can't stand people like Limbaugh (and his twin, Michael Moore)...I really don't care who owns pro sports teams.

Certainly he is no worse than many exisiting owners.

It's funny though, Limbaugh rolls in politics so he picked up fleas. His political enemies got a chance to screw with him and jumped at it....just like he would have done. All the racism outrage is really funny, especially since Sharpton "hymie town" is as bad or worse.

So, tough luck Rush...yawn.

He certainly has the right to try and buy the team if he wants to.

It looks like to me his big mouth is coming back around to bite him in the @ss. Not a small feat, I might add, when you consider who we're talking about. Too bad. Whatever happened to personal responsibility, Rush? Take responsibility for the things you said, and the fact that those things are what's hurting your chances at NFL ownership. He has nobody to blame but himself for not getting what he wants.

Well, the people who buy all the NFL tickets and the skyboxes, etc. They are Rush Limbaugh's people. Ever been to an NFL game? The vast majority of the fans are White and probably tend towards conservatism. Rush Limbaugh fans are the very people who $upport the entire NFL's existence, so they better watch out with the anti-white stuff.

Yep. They would run the triple wishbone, have limited substitution, the biggest lineman would be 225 lbs., and they would be really boring to watch unless you are one of those "Man, that offensive line is really playing great" technical football watchers who counts pancakes and lookout blocks.

I don't really see why people get so worked up over Sharpton or Limbaugh. Both are ridiculous hypocrites who are only taken seriously by their opposition.

Limbaugh went out of his way to verge on prejudicial statements about McNabb and certain other black players, I can only assume intentionally (he is a pretty huge @sshole, afterall), and Sharpton went out of his way to decry that a black quarterback having a terrible season is off limits for criticism. No one holds the high ground in that stupid contest.

Is that so? The dittoheads are the rich guys? (It doesn't matter after all, since Limbaugh has been asked to take his plans elsewhere).

The NFL owners didn't want him in their ranks. Also, most of the black players interviewed said that they wouldn't play on his team, if left with another choice. Regardless of the money they were willing to pay them.

Default Were Rush Limbaugh AND George Soros part of Rams' bid?

Were Rush Limbaugh AND George Soros part of Rams' bid?

If so, what is going on here. Why all the focus on only one of them?
