Black working class gays left out of national gay rights agenda | Opinion | theGrio

Do people realize racism even crosses into the gay community?

Gays can be prejudiced just like everyone else.
I've met people who didn't want to date outside their race because they felt blacks were inferior.
I have met some black gay people who didn't want to date a white person because they felt they stunk or were gross.

Even within the ***** community, there is prejudice against the transgender community.

The gay community is a microcosm of the rest of society. You have classism, racism, ageism, ableism, etc.

Some of the the racist gays are probably the same ones who are shouting the loudest for "gay rights". Yet they discriminate themselves.

Got anything to back up your opinion?
If not, it's just an opinion.

Your comment was your opinion based on a clearly marked opinion piece.

Yep, and black people can be prejudiced just like everyone else. Look at the 80% plus of black people who voted AGAINST marriage for gay people in California.

Wow, if that is an accurate statistic I wonder if it comes from the ministers in their churches telling them to vote against it.
