You mean how long will foreclosures go on before returning to normal levels ?

The general concensus is through 2010.

But that doesn't mean that other areas of the economy won't improve until then.

I'm FULLY aware of what the PAST data shows (the improvement between 1st & 2nd quarter was DRAMATIC).
The question is - what will the UPCOMING data show?

And I'm FULLY convinced that it WILL show a positive GDP.
In another week or so you can post the updated chart and either crow - or eat crow.

How do you want it cooked?

eat crow? You cant even remember a few postings ago where I actually said I expect an increase in the GDP, however minor, due to the govt manipulating the cash for clunker programs and others.

dramatic change? yeah, every quarter since the Democrats took over Congress had dramatic changes, and not always positive..

So you ADMIT we are no longer in a recession?
Why didn't you just say that to begin with.

So tell me - what's YOUR guess at the new GDP?
I'm guessing it will be at +3.5%
Step up to the plate and tell us what you expect - if you have the courage.

I didn't question it.
I merely pointed out the obvious.

Do all of you liberals lack comprehension skills.. I expect it to be out, but since I DO NOT CONTROL GDP numbers, I cant say we are out. We will NOT BE OUT, until GDP numbers say we are out, and when the GDP numbers say we are out, remove all of the manipulation of the numbers due to cash for clunkers etc before you start to celebrate. After all, vehicle sales are down 45%, and us coming out, with vehicle sales this low almost guarantees we will go back in.

Hell, I want it to be over, so when we go back in 6 months from now I can stop hearing the uneducated liberal proclaim how Bush is to blame. If we are out and go back in, all fingers will be pointing at Obama..

One good thing of cash for clunkers, it manipulated Bush out of the blame for the economy if it has enough of a push to move the GDP to a positive figure.
