Technically the definition of the word ****** had no racist attatchments to it.
But over a few centuries the word was often used by people in a racist context, with racist actions and attrocities supporting the verbal context.
Traditionally, the term White Trash did not really have a racist context behind it. Although, discrimination and prejudice are sometimes the actions which support the verbal context of the term White Trash.
Ultimately, in today's world the term White Trash has developed and it has been transformed to a point where it can/and is used in a racist verbal context.
But the dtermining factor is ....what's the context of using the term. i.e. .....Who is using the term and why they are using the term.
Some Black people do use the term in a racist context.
Certain White People use the the term in an arrogant (Hollier than thou) context, to raise themselves up above the individual targets of their White Trash context. Apparently, it makes them feel superior about themselves to do so.
Some White People use the term White Trash, when they are angry or outraged by the actions of certain white individuals; who behave in a disruptive, destructive, self-absorbed, selfish manner that indicates poor manners, poor consideration for others, poor hygiene and poor self-esteem.
Both Black and white people use the term White Trash in a affectionate and endearing manner.
So to summarize. Words are only words. It's the individual intent and context of each individual using the word; that determines definiton.
Personally, I'd rather people speak their mind and say what they think and feel. Because for those that are harbouring hate, it's much better to know thy enemy.
I have no respect for people who are too cowardly too look me in the eye and say what's on their mind or what they feel. I'd rather know up front where I stand with someone.
Rather than having a spineless weasel hiding in the shadows talking sh*t behind my back.
That's why I can't stand Politcal Correctness.
Life is short. I have no time for cowards and petty, emotionally-juvenile people.
