Haha. Right. I used to live right by Truman, 2 blocks away.

Check the Chicago forum on this very site for an update regarding Uptown.

No Yuppies about it.

I didn't refuse to see your point, I saw right through your point. It was that flimsy. You didn't refute a single statement of mine with anything of substance, so nice chatting with you.

See thats the thing with the left..They never, ever take the blame for anything...We have poured in 100 of billions of $$$ to the educational system and what have we to show for it...Sh*t.
Liberals have a lock on the edu. system on purpose...Mold young minds...Well you wanted it you got it....This younger gen. is so screwed up.

Left has and with this admin. in power will make this once great country into a 3rd world welfare states..and the sad part is..that exactly what he wants....Funny thing, libs blame Capitalism on all thats bad...but in a Capitist market..anyone can make a great living if they ( I am living proof)..."want to"...In your Soiclaist utopia.....Every just feeds the Govt. hunger.

Also pretty funny...you bash Capitalism but in a Socialist society the few control everything! Why is it that the left never tells that side of the story!

"Only problem with Soicalism is...Sooner or later you run out of other peoples money"
Lots of assumptions and repetition, so little substance. You assume that because I criticized your view, that I'm your polar opposite. Not necessarily true, but I'll let that one slide for now. The educational system in this country is exactly what big business wants it to be, not what the liberals want nor what the conservatives want. They want us to be essentially powerless and stupid, unable to think creatively or out of the box so that we won't recognize our country collapsing around us. You scream about socialism being taught in the schools and yet there is no proof of this. I recall no mention of communism or socialism when I went to school pre-1980. You also scream how socialism is some big bad boogeyman. Sorry, for many it has an appeal because it is a known alternative to a dog-eat-dog world that seems utterly oppressive. I believe some things should be socialized and some things should remain "capitalized" for lack of a better term but I don't live in fear of something that I've not yet experienced. Nor will I accept the fact that other socialized countries are horrible places to live. Tried Scandinavia anyone?

Michael Moore is no socialist and no dummy. He is working for you and I and profiting off of it which is his right. He is an avowed gun-toting capitalist who sees our current system is off-balance in ways that threaten our great country, and he makes movies to draw attention to that reality. He may be fat but that's his problem, not anyone else's to attack because they can't be nice in any way. Frankly, I wish more out there would copy his aggressiveness and go after the bad guys so we can finally resolve the issues we seem unable or unwilling to grasp. The Michael Moores of the world should have the affect of uniting us, but in what must be the failure of our times, that remains elusive. Perhaps nothing will unite us...

You appear to jump the gun quite frequently. First you misquote my post about Capitalism and then you cherry pick by pointing out that Moore blasts the Democrats (with the link that I provided to prove that he is not partisan) and than praises them. So what? That shows that Moore will call it as he sees it. It is the issue he is concerned with and will call out whichever political party screws up. That's the way everyone should make judgements and decisions. It's not a football game, where you are are loyal to a team regardless of how they perform. You have proven nothing here with your responses to me other than you're inability to comprehend what is clearly written and not accurately analyzing what you read to reach a logical conclusion.

We can agree to disagree, my posts say show information that Moore is a liar and yours shows that he is not. So basically we both have proved nothing here.

I find it fascinating that in the movie Sicko, Moore lauded over the health care system in Cuba - noted it was so very good. That the US should try to emulate it.

BUT, when push came to shove, and Moore got very sick, did he go to Cuba for his health care?

Nope. He stayed right here - in the good Ole U S of A.

Not really. I just showed that Moore is a Hypocrite. Someone who says one thing - then does another.

A person not to be trusted. A liar. A buffoon.

Thanks for pointing out the GOP's basic premise in their political philosophy.
