this is the stuff that makes liberals look so silly when they say "i hate bush" when they have no clue what they are talking about.

Remember my fellow republicans, the silly uneducated political potshots go both ways. They call us teabaggers, we sarcastically call obama "the messiah" or "the chosen one" instead of forming reasonable arguments prompting intelligent debate.

You shouldnt even be posting on this forum if you arent somewhat open minded. this is a forum for discussion not for downright unintelligible arguments.
Sounds good!

EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE. He has been a total failure on every issue he has touched. Not only has he been a total nightmare, he has divided this country like none ever before him. Guess that is what his talent is, dividing people.

Can you name one major accomplishment of Obama's?

I'm glad he can tune all this chatter out. As someone who voted for him, I think he's doing great. He's really changed a lot in his first nine months in terms of foreign and economic policy, as well as women's rights and removing politics from science, amongst many others.

Gitmo will close when it's wise to close it. You don't just shut something like that down without all your ducks in a row.

Iraq's on its way out. Afghanistan is ramping up (as promised). health care's going to pass as the biggest reform in almost a century. The economy's been brought back from the brink thanks to domestic policies and international partnerships.

I'd say Obama's doing pretty well for anybody who hasn't been blinded by hate for the guy since before he was even elected (i.e. the OP).

You have the truth and fact confused with the word hate.

His track record is horrible long before he came into office, a series of no accomplishments as a Senator and a community organizer along with a dirty background made many people take a close look at him.

So far, those who DISLIKE Obamas policies have been dead on right.

Stop using the HATE excuse, it is getting as old as the blame Bush one.

We hate what he has done to America.

Accept it or not, he has been an utter failure and that is a fact.

Gas prices went over $4.60 a gallon in California in 2008, diesel over $5/gal. Nationally the price was $4.10/gal for regular unleaded.

Yup, remember when-----

Nancy Pelosi said she was going to take on those big bad oil companies and get those prices cheaper?

What the hell happened? It has been 3 years now and she has not even talked about those bad oil companies.

Or is it just a normal thing for the liberals leaders to lie to get elected and then drop the promises and ideas?

Seems like this is a normal trend of the liberal party.

They say what people want to hear. Since so many people are apathetic to politics those in office know they will not have to follow through.

How many politicians get re-elected in spite of their empty promises ?

So, which is it - either he has "no accomplishments" or he's "done" horrible things "to America".

You can't have it both ways. So long as you wish to, I will suspect you're motivated by personal issues, not policy.

I can't see any rationale in your persistent attacks that have droned on since the campaign.

You never even gave your president a chance. We at least let Bush fail on his own before we jumped on him.

It took a tragedy much worse then any we've faced so far to get the president out of his 6 month vacation in 2000. I guess you can then make the logical conclusion that Obama has officially gone 40 days longer then George W Bush did without a terrorist attack on US soil.

Honestly, anyone who has held an executive position that was new or was marked with a large turnover understands that difficulties in overcoming inertia.

Outside of the political spit-uppers and the psuedo-important windbag arm chair presidents on the internet (and radio, and TV) I'm pretty sure that thinking folk understand how complicated things are and develop realistic expectations.

We've been screwed by politicians on both sides of the aisle for at least 40 years. It increased under the Bush administration, and it's increasing exponentially under the Obama administration. Anyone that can't see that is drinking the kool-aid of their particular party.

Republicans and Democrats suck.
