Aren't you grasping at straws with these ridiculous threads?
The homesteader isn't grasping any more than the rest of you are. It is always funny to see left leaners get wound out on a thread like this one.

You have a good thread here and THEY are trying very hard to change the subject, call it lame, etc but that doesn't make it wrong. Oba mao didn't even celebrate the National Day of Prayer that used to be a national day, till he got elected. He has missed a number of things like that and they always try very hard to defend him for his derelictions.
still answer my question nobody taking this thread anywhere, just answer the damn questions

We're talking about the Cold War era here, and you're trying to derail the thread.

Reagan defeated the USSR by forcing them to spend themselves into bankruptcy. It was the final straw. Weak Carter never would have accomplished what Reagan did against the commies.

But he has time to go pick up the Nobel Prize he did nothing to earn.

So let's see here, a president who appoints openly communist people into his administration, who likes Chavez and Castro, who refuses to be critical of the Chinese communists' abuse of human rights, who won't celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall, who says any news agency not supportive of him is not news...
why would he celebrate? that fall caused a billion people to have a chance to live without communism. Im sure BO got drunk that night in the late 80s to drown his sorrow...

cant see the spots on that leapord changing.
