They want to hear the anti-Beck message because they love BO! His listeners are his bread and butter, so he tells them what they want to hear. Why is this so difficult for you, to understand?

Is Glen Beck the crazy relative you politely listen to as he talks, talks, and talks. Why is he on the air? That's my thought. But I have to ask:

He is an entertainer for heavens sake, that is all it is, or is meant to be: entertainment. Some take him seriously, some don't.

There is no "wishing". Glenn Beck is either crazy or he's crazy like a fox meaning that he knows his audience and thus spoonfeeds them their daily dose of hate and fear-mongering. I think that he is a little bit of both right now, but heavier on the latter side (meaning that he knows his audience and what will increase his viewership).
What is scary is the fact that there are viewers who actually believe that he is really crying and viewers who believe the various conspiracy theories he makes up as he goes along. Come on, he throws out different words and then tries to link the relationship between all of them in a very hodge podge way as he squeezes all of them into a neat little box to prove his conspiracy theory du jour. Are people seriously NOT seeing this???

No normal person, regardless of political affiliation could (or would want to) compete with Beck, and that's a good thing.
I'm going to be quite honest here and say that people who are much less unstable than Beck are in mental institutions right now under medical supervision/treatment, trying to get better. Beck, on the other hand, has his own show and the lackeys that watch him support him and defend his insanity. If that's not enough, they claim that Beck is the "sane" one.

YOU.....KNOW who's "nuts" and who isn't........out of professional expertise or from personal experience?
And there may very well be people in mental institutions who ARE less unstable than GB.......but being that our mental health care is what it is......ANYONE could be institutionalized in such a place and for no real reason.
But, this is just conjecture or speculation, right?
Often, the decision is based on what an all-knowing judge believes as necessary.........whether or not, it truly is.

YES. Why? Because anyone who sees figures on the Rockefeller Center building, (communist signs) cries on national television, sort of reminds me of that hypocritical bible thumper (jim baker) who used to get on the public stage and cry for dollars, or they'd have to close the ministry.
