What are you talking about? What about all the sob stories I see on tv about how these illegals are only coming into our country for a better life and to work as gardeners and housekeepers?

Yac.
LOL--Yac. High five.

How do you do what you do?

Adding my own thread to this one--

and another one

~~~
It was quite a shock to those of us in metro Atlanta.
Lawrenceville--this specific part --is one of our better areas--known for family oriented folks and as a decent place to live.
Located near a major expressway/drug route, I suppose is now more accurate.
We may 'lose' the war--but we aren't going down without a fight--that is all I can say without expletives.
"...La Familia has been linked to hundreds of drug-related killings, including the July 13 kidnapping and torture murders of 12 Mexican federal agents in Michoacán.
According to officials, the bodies were found on the side of a highway and a sign on them read: "Come for another, we're waiting for them."Officials said that the slayings of the 12 agents was in response to the arrest two days earlier of Arnoldo Rueda-Medina, described as being the chief of operations for La Familia.
Through the current investigation, DEA agents learned that several Dallas-area cell leaders oversee independent drug distribution branches supplied by members of La Familia in Mexico"
Did this occur in a nice neighborhood in Dallas? Near a major interstate?
That is what happened in Atlanta/Lawrenceville.
And--are you by chance from Atlanta--we have a concert venue name 'Lakewood'. Just Curious.
So now there will be a vacuum of power in the drug business. Keep an eye out for the violence as the up-and-comers jockey for position.
The only real solution is to legalize drugs, educate people about their effects and treat addiction.
Sorry, but I'm not getting your point. (Not being snotty--I really don't get it.)
Will you be writing a check for treating addiction?
I couldn't help myself--having watched my brother abuse substances/serve prison time and die from this illness.
Not a viable alternative, jmo.
