And you watch Olberman so no one else has to, judging by his ratings.

Bada Bing. Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the prime rib and be sure to tip your waitress.

This writer tags Beck correctly, SCUMBAG...more at link below.

I'm posting light today because of a hectic schedule, meaning weighty topics -- like an apparent attempt by one of Detroit's three casinos to ditch black ownership -- will have to be put on hold.

But I did run across this little item about how Glenn Beck, the FOX News clown-in-residence, dumped on our city for the confusion that erupted at Cobo Hall on Oct. 7. In his never-ending crusade to warp truth beyond all recognition, Beck is using the Cobo incident to somehow suggest that progressive leftists are akin to "slaveowners" because...because...well, because making up stupid stuff is his stock-in-trade.

And because Glenn Beck is, in my estimation, as evil a villain as the Legion of Doom...er, the GOP...has ever unleashed on American political discourse, a one-man weapon of mass distraction.
A Detroit Blog writer slams Glenn Beck for twisting the truth about chaos at Cobo Hall on Oct. 7 - The Detroit Blog - TIME.com

Commentator A goes after the government

Commentator B goes after Commentator A

I'm I the only one who think's Commentator B is an idiot?

Shouldn't Commentator B also be looking into what our government is doing?

Exposing who the people in our government are and what they think, rather than looking into another Commentator?

Maybe it is just me, maybe what's really important is not what our government is doing but rather what the people who comment on what our government does.

I watched one of his clips from 21/10.
First of all, I don't live in the USA and therefore am familiar with other media.
Now my impression of him ( I saw some of his clips before already):

1. I have a headache because he does repeat alot of things without saying much. It is hard to follow him.

2. He bashes people, actually the only people that make sense in the clip:
Hillary Clinton said something that is really important. To take the money that oil companies make and invest it in new technologies. What is wrong about that?
Why does he attack Bill Maher and the other guy that said things about HC in the US that are so true. The US has the most inefficient HC system of all western countries. I have posted studies on CD that proved my point. I have also seen a clip of Beck screaming at a Caller because she asked him what his solution of the HC system was. That was rude and disrespectful.

What exactly is his point rather than make people angry and bash people?
If he actually had a point I would admit it, but this whole clip was childish.

Before people label me a Leftie (something some people from the right love to do): I would rather wish for Ron Paul to be president than Obama, because at least Ron Paul understands that the US is responsible for the terror in the US and the countries the US has attacked. I have posted that video as well on CD.

I understand, though, that people like Beck. He makes politics "entertaining" and you don't have to think for yourself anymore.

I am curious what he had to say about following points, maybe a Beck lover can help me out:

1. What did he say about the Patriot Act? Was he against it? You should have been since he is so against the government.
2. Was he against the war in Afghanistan? You know because it costs money.
3. What was his opinion on the war in Iraq? Again lots of spendings for the taxpayer, not to mention there wasn't even a real threat.
4. I heard he was against the bailout, I give him kudos for that.
5. What did he say about the Haliburton rape case?

Case in point, Beck shows a chart with Medicare having the highest number of rejected claims when compared to all other insurers. That isn't a lie. But what Beck doesn't tell you is that Medicare covers a subset of the population that is also the oldest and most ill so obviously, they will have the most rejected claims since they are enduring the most expensive and involved treatment. Again, was Beck lying? No! It's just classic manipulation. The sheeple who watch him see this one sided presentation of facts and are enamored with him. Don't worry Maddow and the libs do the same. I saw Sanjay Gupta and Anderson Cooper doing the same thing with regard to healthcare. All I ask is that people don't become sheeple. Don't fall prey to these talking heads. Watch them but don't drink the Kool Aid. Form your own opinions and educate yourself regardless of what political party or ideology you hold allegiance to. There is truth to both sides.
I think you should watch today's Beck show since he is telling us exactly why this Health reform thing is going to dump us over the edge which we are sitting on right now. He told things easily checked like that Moody's has said that within 5 years at the present rate of spending we will no longer be a AAA rated borrower. Now if Moody's is wrong or lying then maybe our Congress is going to go ahead with this hellishly expensive healthcare bill, however do you know anybody who hits at both parties' people like Beck does. Today he said just what I have been thinking about Linsey Graham for some time. Of course, he was likening him to Oba mao at the time so I guess that is wrong.

Hey, today Beck got in on something that I see very few do. He tore into the people in the 23 Congressional District of New York. You know the one with one Republican (very liberal thinking lady), and one Democrat with a proclaimed independent who used to be a Democrat. Right now the easy victor, the woman, Dede Scozzafava is about 4 points behind the D who is a little wizened man who says what he thinks and does what he says and would only give the Dems one more seat in Congress and one more Blue Dog to worry about.

Old Glenn is really hitting at many Republicans and surely that will get him fired any minute since Fox is the mouthpiece of the GOP or the other way around, which is it.

I did however watch a segment you posted previously. In that segment Beck asserted that the Nixon's enemies list was just a list of who not to invite for dinner. How would you characterize that statement: lie, falsehood, ignorant, self-serving? It was in a segment where he also asserting that no other President's administration has gone after the media like Obama's. Well I guess Nixon was using the IRS and the Justice department to go after the press and not the media, so maybe Beck escapes on a technicality.
Whatever you don't worry about seeing Beck at any hour other than when you can since that group does provide an easy to see him without going with the hours Fox carries him. It is 4:00 or 1:00 am for me but I have an old VCR that does a great job of taping him. Also, I see him at some time on Sunday when they run one of his that week's shows.

I guess all the other people on Fox talking about the Nixon group tend to be liars or whatever you are talking about. They were running a man who served in the group at that time and seemed to remember that happening with Nixon also. Maybe all the other news people who have been talking about the Nixon group are also lying. I don't know.

Good old Media Matters. The White HOuse has really declared war on Beck since that bunch is working for them. Hey, that video must have been about Beck's radio show since I failed to see that part on the Fox TV show. I wonder if Media Matters sees anything wrong with that. No sir, there was nothing like that on his show today.

BTW, one of my sons had On Star once because he bought a new Chevy pickup and once his year ran out he avoided any more of that. He doesn't even know who Glenn Beck is today and that was in 2002.

Keep up the good work because you are wasting more time looking at Media Matters stretches of truth than I asked you to waste on his yesterday's show. You really don't care what you do with your time, do you?

Nope it didn't ring yesterday nor today. However, he did get a call on another phone today in which he said the people were talking about Mrs. Dunn's husband getting an appointment in the White House. Maybe that is not true, though.

I guess since the nice lady refuses to call him he must be telling no lies at all.

Why bother suing psychotic right wing commentators when you can tie them to the Republican party? Who would actually want ANYONE with the ideology of Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Hewitt, Savage, Cunningham, Medved, Ingraham, etc in any political office? The answer is the fringe 5-10% which isn't even enough to get them through a primary.

Why sue when you can use them as a political punching bag in order to motivate voters and raise money? Remember 2006 when Limbaugh said Michael J Fox was "either off his medication or he's acting" in response to an ad Michael J Fox appeared in for Democratic Candidate Claire McCaskill? And bingo Democratic Pick Up in the state of Missouri 2006, not entirely because of Limbaugh acting like an idiot, but with any election where the victory margin is less than 2.5% every vote matters.

As far as liberals are concerned keep it up. Keep it up with all the bs because it helps the Democratic party at the polls.
Typical response from the non-thinking liberal wing. I always thought an education was to make people think. Obviously, I was wrong. But then, maybe you aren't educated. I just took a guess.
