The man was almost exclusively WRONG about everything. He has ZERO credibility and his leadership is the reason Afghanistan is so messed up today.
I'm not sure any rebuttal is even necessary to what this cretin has to say. All the W.H. should say to him from now on is to get his arse back to his bunker and shut the f_ck up

I just repped you, but I must disagree with you about Cheney being wrong. He was wrong for us, but did everything right to enrich himself and his cronies. Just as planned!

That is absolutely true. And that is what has yet to be figured out about Afghanistan, but even more so, Iraq. What the hell was the real trigger for flipping this guy from "quagmire" to "greeting us as liberators"??
It is a cautionary tale of how power corrupts. The man had 30 years of dark obsession with getting total power and he became oblivious to reasoned analysis and reality.
There are numerous and valid reasons the democrats/liberals have historically NOT been trusted with foreign policy/national security.
We are seeing it played out right now.
The Demos can't be trusted? Your kidding, right? A Repub has been running the show for the last eight years and what did we get; One war that got put on the back burner, another that had nothing what so ever to do with the war on terror, and damaged relations with some of our closest allies. Being how badly the last administration did in that area I would suggest Cheney needs to keep his big yap shut. The current President is stuck holding the bag left behind by the Repubs, a job few would want, I for one, am willing to give him some time to try and get it done right, I would prefer he give it more than ten minutes thought before acting, we saw what the other method gets us.
