No need.
He sounds like a hypocrite as well, who doesn't volunteer extra $$$ but thinks others should, while he eats out, drinks beer, does recreational drugs and goes on a cruise...
I'm not on board with your agenda, but apparently .002% of wealthy Germans agree with you.
You have no credibility to respond based on those two words. Have nice day!
Trust me, I've read dozens of books on Buffet, written by dozens of different inviduals, including one he partnered to write, one by his wife, his daughter in law etc. some flattering, some not so flattering, but you'll have to find him talking about his personal assets OTHER than Hathaway. They all talk about how Buffets total assets are tied up into BRK and about how he setup corporations and went public for the purpose of avoiding taxes, and about how he wont ever sell stocks after they are acquired, even after they've nosedived due to tax consequences..
Is it possible the books (unlike you, I have not read them) were written before he started to fill up his personal portfolio with American stock?
If his personal portfolio is same as BRK (is that it?), then it sounds like he invests in his own BRK funds, and since most of it receives dividends, then he should receive some too.
Buffett is filling up his personal portfolio with American stocks with the goal of having an asset allocation 100% in equities in a short time. He sees fear in the market now, and he is sticking to a mantra that has worked well for him throughout his life: “Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful.”
What a surprise. After all, the Germans were gullible enough to elect the National Socialist party into a majority within the Reichstag, then sat by allowing the enabling act to take place, then allowed for a national gun grab, then allowed for mass deportations and executions. Very fearful sheeple, these Germans folks.
Have you ever been to Germany? How many Germans do you actually know?
I currently live in Germany, and you said a lot of disrespectful things that show your lack of intelligence.
The Nazi years are over. Get over it.
I bet when Black Americans talk about slavery, you think they shouldn't blame white Americans that live today.
Your post must be the most ignorant I have ever read on CD so far.

I remember Warren Buffet saying the same thing in US. I don't think I agree with their approach, but I must admit they truly want to help their countries and are ready to sacrifice.
A group of rich Germans has launched a petition calling for the government to make wealthy people pay higher taxes.
The group say they have more money than they need, and the extra revenue could fund economic and social programmes to aid Germany's economic recovery.
Germany could raise 100bn euros if the richest people paid a 5% wealth tax for two years, they say.
Taxes in Europe are almost half a family or individuals income-
but there is almost free and universal health care, free higher education, and a vast array of other social safety nets- so seeing these 'altruistic' rich Germans feeling they should pay more is more typical there then here.
That being so; Americans are paying higher taxes-though less then 30 years ago- and the wealthy the last 8 years have benefited from a 1 trillion dollar tax break- and that is for the upper 5% - that dollar figure is the same amount for the health care plan now in congress. I guess in Europe they have different priorities then here; The USA seeks to create wealth for a few- while in Europe they try and see more equality and balance- and those who have less, have far greater safety nets.
