The ACORN example is such a perfect example of the bias from CNN, MSNBC, and others. They just wished it would go away, but it kept coming day after day. Even last week there was another video released.

There is no defense, it was a huge story. Tax dollars funding an organization whose employees were already under investigation in several states for fraud. Now they are captured on camera promoting not just illegal, but sickening things. Prostitution of young girls, evading taxes, getting a loan to start a brothel, and it goes on and on. And not just an isolated case, it happened at many ACORN offices, even the one that Berth Lewis claimed kicked them out and called the cops. The organization has close ties with the President and helped him get elected.

There is no way to defend all of that, so liberals try to just focus on something else. "What about Haliburton!" That's all they have. Can't bother to admit what a colossal example of fraud and media bias this is, so let's talk about something else...

The fact that there's a debate if FNC is a legitimate news organization or a propaganda machine is suspect.

Why do people believe this news channel presents real news, when the CEO himself admits he tries to manipulate people? Please don't come with the silly argument "other news channels have biases CEO's as well"? Do you really think you have to pick between Fox and the other biased American news channels? There are so many sources to obtain information from. I think people like Fox because it suits their views. And liberals like liberal media because it suits their views.

Launched in May 2004, Media Matters for America put in place, for the first time, the means to systematically monitor a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation — news or commentary that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda — every day, in real time. - about

You seem to wish MediaMatters is making this stuff up.

You might appreciate the story of how MediaMatters came into being, if you're not familiar with it. David Brock created Troopergate for American Spectator and wrote The Real Anita Hill, if you remember those.

MMFA has a staff of 59 and is headquartered at 1625 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W. in Washington, D.C. MMFA employees have at various times worked for Al Gore, John Edwards, Barney Frank, Wesley Clark, the National Organization for Women (NOW), the Center for American Progress, Greenpeace, the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (recently rechristened the American Association for Justice) and the Alliance for Justice.

Reviewing Brock’s 2002 memoir, Blinded by the Right, journalist Christopher Hitchens wrote, “I would say without any hesitation that he [Brock] is incapable of recognizing the truth, let alone of telling it. The whole book is an exercise in self-love, disguised as an exercise in self-abnegation.” Cultural critic Camille Paglia, a left-leaning Democrat, ridiculed Brock’s confession: “Behold, the writhing snake pit of amoral media ambition!”

Michael Calderone's Blog: GE execs questioned about MSNBC slant - POLITICO.com

Quote:
During the woman's follow-up question, her microphone was apparently cut off. A short time later, Waters asked a question and his mic was cut, too.

"The crowd was very upset with MSNBC because of its leftward tilt," one attendee said. "Some former employees said they were embarrassed by it."

The only ones asserting that are the libs and obama, for strictly political reasons, which has failed miserably. Even FOX's competitors disagree with the whining man-child, as they just gave him the spanking he deserved.

Fox News hammered ACORN, and rightfully so. To play the race card, someone had better come up with the evidence. Otherwise you look like the mindless idiots that endlessly pummel with you with anti-Fox News tripe in hopes that you will come to an online forum and repeat what they tell you to.
Lol, it was 11:45 in the pm, and I'd found enough links for you.

Those of you that bash Fox News do it without having ever watched the full line-up of shows the network offers. Instead of relying on ignorant out of context YouTube clips to make your case, you should at least demonstrate that you have actually watched the line-up from start to finish before pasting endless, mindless clips of pure nothingness. The depth and breadth of intellect (not much) that emanates from the liberal faction on this forum is abundantly evident, and each anti-Fox thread is proof of that. Those of you that insist that Fox News is not a "news" channel, I challenge you to compare the line-up of Fox and MSNBC and then come back and tell us the ratio of news:talk/variety show that each news outlet offers. I believe you will be surprised to find that both networks have a ~50/50 news/talk format.

Maybe then you'll realize how stupid you look for relying on MSNBC to formulate your otherwise ignorant opinion of Fox.

That's an entertaining post. Full of falsehoods, assumptions, and unfounded opinions, but very amusing.

Fox News and the related programming, including the fiction and sports, provide a simple consistent theme, of the unfortunate oppressed by big LIBERAL government, which is difficult for the unsophisticated listener to criticize. It is of a piece and very well done.

Dr. Gobbles would be proud.
