Around here the churches have "Trunk a Treat", various church members fill their car trunks with candy, and children run from vehicle to vehicle scooping handfuls of candy into their bags.
Our church here in Colorado used to do that. I also read of a recreation center nearby doing that.

Most Christians think Halloween is a witches holiday, since it does have pagan roots. But so does everything else.
I am not religious, but I am not an atheist either. Both sides get more than a little weird about these things IMO.
Most Christians are well aware of the above in the first paragraph, and do not think Halloween is a "witches holiday".
I am a Christian and am blessed for it! I would rather the name stay the same if this is indeed an issue on the table. I'd like for others (whether they believe in it or not) to be aware of what they are getting themselves into. Changing the name to something like Fall Festival brings forth the wolf in sheeps clothing, sort of speak. Not hear to argue if His word is real and true. On that final day, we will all know. I just pray that we realize before...well you know. Spoken in love! The great thing is that we are all loved by the Lord and He awaits us whenever we are ready!
