I bet Corzine is acting like all the dems and avoiding the only channel that will actually challenge the Democrat Party, and as a bonus, Shep Smith insulted the company who pays his mortgage!
Look for Shep to be one of the 14 billion jobs that Obama has NOT created or saved with economic stimulus.
Like I said....the wingnuts will not be happy about this. They don't want Faux to REALLY be "fair and balanced"...Thanks for proving my point.

You do realize that Faux went to court about not having to tell the truth, don't you.
It was all over the news, all types of news.
Can you cite any news report on Fox that gave credibiity to truthers, birthers, obama being a secret communist or muslim? I'm referring to news, not commentary programs.
While I understand you want to make a distinction between news shows and opinion/commentary shows like Beck, Hannity, and O'reilly. But I think that with the way they present their information on these shows, and the fact that its on a 24-hour NEWS channel, misleads many. I think part of it is that fox news is basically the only conservative leaning television news channel, so there isn't other channels conservatives might watch to get more balanced points of view. Since there are plenty of left-leaning television channels, and these channels are in competition with each other, they have to be more careful about the content they air.
Basically, there are no Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck equivalents on liberal national television or radio. There are plenty of O'reilly types, I don't find there to be anything wrong with O'Reilly. I may not always agree with him. But at least he presents his case in a clear and respectable manner, he doesn't encourage conspiracies and distrust.
number one, this proves what a few of us infomed viewers have been claiming: FOX is more balanced than most cable networks: they have the moderate to liberal hosts compared to many, who only have one side and 2-it was in refereance to one situation, not overall...don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.
Smith is definitely the most straight up host on Fox News by a long shot. He puts really puts Hannity, Cavuto and Beck to shame.
I disagree with this notion. I think Shepherd Smith is the lead anchor for Fox much like Karie Couric is the lead anchor for CBS. Smith's job is to report the news. O'reilly, Hannity and Beck are on-air personalities that serve the editorial role. They provide opinions. It's similar to Lou Dobbs or Rick Sanchez on CNN. They are not reporting the news, they are deliberately providing their slant.
I think Fox is a conservative news source and I see nothing wrong with that. All news sources are biased and most are liberal so I fail to see why a conservative news source can't be made available. I feel the mainstream media is liberal so it's nice to have a conservative news source as well.

Mentioning lies, this is the biggest one going around CD right now. It would be nice if liberals would atleast attempt to find out the truth before rattling on about something they know nothing about.
The case your referring to had nothing to do with the right to lie. It was about being allowed to sue for disagreeing about the "facts".
The "truthfulness" of the reporting had no bearing on the case.
