Wonder how that stupid b**** would feel (the idiot with the little dog in her arm, and screaming "Let Them Die" ), if by some "unfortunate" circumstance she was in an awful accident and the people at the scene decided to let her die. All gathered around her battered and bloody body screaming..." Let Her Die...Let Her Die".
I have a feeling she'd have a different perspective, then.
I'd say Scott Geller, MD's comments are well in line with the theme of this thread.
Answer the questions...
How do you feel about waiving your right to patient confidentiality? Allowing doctors to dicuss your medical history and current health issues with a group of random strangers? Are you good with that?
Note that group visits actually benefit doctors and medical practices, financially. They bill each patient (insurance company, etc.) for a visit, but spend less time on the group than they would have if they had seen each patient individually.
Note also that the doctors commenting on the AAPS article are unwilling to compromise the quality of patient care for the greater profits of group visits.

I think you've got this wrong. These people are not actually billionaires. They are people that are for a Public Option and are using sarcasm to point out how the Health Insurance Industry is being piggishly greedy in the backs of the average American.
