So did I. If you are having trouble interpretting the map just ask since I see many red dots representing hate groups around those cities I mentioned. Try coming back with a real argument, especially since your link supports liberal places being equally intolerant
my own experiance 32 yrs in the U.S.A. I have not seen racism .I am not saying there is no racism I just think there is very little.you are making a mountian out of an ant hill.no profesors no studies no schalors, only my opinion
Clearly there were no studies or scholars talking to this person.
Wow.
Trust me, there's racism everywhere. Everyone hates everyone. But since Obama took office, there's been an increase in activity by WHITE racists. I'm a white person and it disgusts me that so many people are so threatened by the change in the power structure.
I feel life is like a race. Everybody should have an even opportunity to line up for the start. but no head starts, or special treatment for anybody. And those that finish first, finish first. Those that don't make it, don't make it. simple, but I like it.
Well with obama getting like 92% oif the black vote you may have something. loom at the hate for hilalry and bill clnotn started during the nomination when they were the heroes.I thnik teh rev Wirght started something afterall.
You mean like "separate but equal" water fountains, bathrooms, seats on the back of the bus, being able to eat outside of a restaurant but not inside with all the white folks, THAT KIND of separate but equal? I'm very familiar with Jim Crowe laws. I just wondered if you were?
Yes that's right, that's what the Jim Crowe Laws were about. I'm not the one that brought up them up....you did and then tied that into the fact that people responsible for lynchings were not prosecuted. The two have nothing to do with each other.

When you asked me if I've ever heard or read about Jim Crowe laws, it's hard to tell if you're being condescending or just asking me a sincere question. Based on the fact that you only wrote two very short sentences (first a question and then a statement), I took it as one comment rather than two related but, separate thoughts. I can see now that you intended to express it that way when you skipped a line to write the second sentence (like two paragraphs). On the other hand, English (Grammar and sentence structure) is usually very informal on Internet forums (skipping a line like you did, doesn't mean much when you read things on here) so, you might want to think about that if you're going to be that brief when you reply to someone.

No, I'm not....that's just what the Jim Crowe laws were about, separate but equal. Remember, you brought that into the conversation so, not having a clue as to what the two had to do with each other, I was being a bit sarcastic when I asked you if you're going to try and tell me there were separate but equal lynching laws.
You're first post to me was about a reply I left to Hombre57 when he had posted:
"Because racism is still a problem. Libs pioneered legislation for the civil rights act and LBJ signed the bill into laws. Without this, many whites would possibly still attend hangings of blacks, and many other abuses."
....and my reply to him was:
"You think because the civil rights act was signed into law, it stopped hangings....that's murder....there were already laws about that remember. People stop racism....not a law."
Then this is where you replied to me about Jim Crowe and white people not getting prosecuted. When you say laws were applied differently depending upon a persons race, that's my point....they didn't stop racism, people did....laws were besides the point, they didn't stop lynchings.

If you mean, at some point after the civil rights movement, most "Southern Democrats" from that period are now republicans....yes, I am aware of that. I don't know what you mean by "Rush Limbaugh style Republicans". If you mean Rush Limbaugh holds the same views of those "Southern Democrats" (extremely racist), I don't believe that. I don't listen to Rush very often but, when I have, I haven't ever heard him make statements that are racist....I'm sure sure you can find things that he's said, when taken out of context and twisted a bit or paraphrased, you could argue was a racist statement. If I listened to some of the accusations being made by others about him being racist and had only actually listened bits and pieces of his show from time to time, I would have come to the conclusion he was racist.
I saw an interview a couple of weeks back (when the he was trying to buy into an NFL team) of a man that daid he was one of Rush's closest friends. I don't remember if I was watching Aderson Cooper 360 or if it was O'Reilly (when Juan was filling infor him). I think his name is Hutch, he's black minister from the northwest now, he used to play fro ball in the NFL and said he's been friends with Rush for many years now. He was just beside him self with the comments that were being made in the media at that time about Rush being racist....he said nothing could be further from the truth (you could see how upset he was about it).
If you mean, they're fans and call into his show.....yes, I'm sure they are and do....he's a consevative talk show host, who else would they call.
Just something funny I thought you'd get a kick out of (if you didn't already hear about it...it's beeen around for awhile now):
It's not easy getting used to the fact that White folks are not the folks in total control of everyone's lives anymore. Seems some people hate that! They will need to get over it. If not, oh well. Anger makes people get cancer and heart attacks and strokes. Better them than me.

Yet, we know that life in America is not synonymous to a race. Well, that is unless the race looks like a ladder, where some groups' starting points are always at the higher rungs of the ladder, and others are always at the bottom. For some reason we like to call that "ladder" meritocracy.

Okay. I don't understand. Please give me some examples of hate speech or actions by La Raza. I honestly don't know much about that organization nor why some people consider them a hate group.
thanks.
