Seems like the Black people of Atlanta don't care about race either. Maybe we are getting somewhere with race. Just when after reading some threads on here, I gave up hope. May the best person win. Houston might elect it's first openly gay mayor too....that will be a thrill! A Republican state with a Lesbian as mayor of it's biggest and richest city!

The first white mayor in 36 years? Good golly, Miss Molly...won't that usher in the end of civilization? What's next--a white mayor in Newark?

Thanks for informing me. Sadly, I assumed that it was a man because usually when someone breaks down any form of barriers, it's usually a man to do it first. I feel bad now. Oh well. See, that's how easy it is to stereotype someone. I was just influenced by our cultural standards and overall societal views. Great.
