Even, as an old supporter of Obama maybe you could tell me how many Republicans have been allowed any input in either of these monstrosities that will surely be rammed down our throats. I sam rammed because Dirty Harry can't do it ethically so ram he must.
Almost none. And really, that's deservedly so. The few that were involved with the Baucus bill were obviously just interested in killing any chance of reform. The GOP is solidly in the pockets of the insurance and health care industries.
And the Dems are half in those pockets. But they're the only ones who will get the job done - if they can beat the GOP and the Blue Dogs.

They got to vote, didn't they? That's their input. Otherwise, they had 12 years to do something about health care, and I don't recall them being very interested in the issue.

Only when that poor guy stood in front of Cheney and took a shot to the face...then they were interested. About the rest of us, not so much.

As of July 15, there were 160 republican amendments in the senate bill.
Why do Republicans always have to scare people. First if was the Government was going kill Grandma and Grandpa. Now it's terrorism. What's up with that?
Have you seen the Democratic-sponsored ad that shows how many Americans allegedly die every day because they don't have insurance? Pure scare tactics. Both sides are guilty.

While you are counting heads remember to count how many Republicans were involved in dreaming these monstrosities up? Would the probable number be zero?
My point is a supposed legislator calling anything being done in Congress a bigger threat than terrorism is the height of fear-mongering McCarthyesque BS.
We should all be scared of this socialist garbage. Wait until you see your taxes if this passes and wait forever to see a doctor.
So you agree with her statement? Do you actually think this bill is a bigger threat than terrorism, you know... the stuff where nuts fly things into buildings or bomb buildings, killing innocent people, you actually believe that a health care bill that is suppose to help people is on the same level as that....????

The Dem ad is true - based on studies and facts. Foxx is lying her *** off.
So you can pretend that "both sides are guilty" if you want. It's not a very intelligent position to take, though.
