This bill doesn't have a chance of being discussed since 230 pages could be read even by the dumbest Congress person while the 1990 can't be read by any of them. Merely lowering health care costs won't allow any new federal control of our lives and the Dems sure won't allow anything like that to happen. Just think of the number of jobs that can be created by the 111 new bureaucracies created by the 1990 page Dem bill. I don't know just what reasons Steny and Nasty Nancy will use to not consider the Republican bill but it should be a real doozy.

Well when you are offering so little, like a prohibition against denying coverage to those with preexisting conditions, you don't need very many pages.

So you think bigger means better? Did you actually read it?

How complicated does it have to be?

Why did they need even 230 pages? They could have done it in one page by saying: "trust us, not your government".

It appears, the drama by likes of Boehner does work!

What did you like in this bill you're so strongly supporting?

Well golly, it appears to me that if you can't have at least 1990 pages in which to hide 111 new bureaucratic offices you might not be able to stop unemployment with any other laws. Now I say that number because Congressmen have read the whole thing from Pelosi and found that many new offices needed to put this monstrosity into effect.

Do you suppose that a couple of the Congress men would be more likely to read 230 pages than 1990? I bet at least a dozen or so would read that one. Maybe they are in such a habit of not reading, just voting and throwing caution to the winds they they will never read another bill of over the 95 that used to be the average.
