People like to post stuff like this just to start debates, that's why. No one outside of that area had even heard about it, but people love broadcasting things to fan fire.
The article said there were bloggers that were offended. But apparently the team is going to address this with her. What can they possibly say?
Maybe Next year she can dress as Jessica Simpson and show up at Tony Romos house.. That would be even more hilarious.
This is what they're going to say: "Ahem,....*snicker*, now we heard that you dressed up as Wyclef for Halloween....yes, that's what I said...Halloween. Anyway, ahem, apparently there are some out there who are offended by this....oh what the hell...ok, this whole thing is BS, you were damn ugly in your pics & you were spot on w/your costume. But some don't like it so just stick to being white from now on, ok? Alright, now get out of here, I got a golf game to catch."
She was dressing as a celebrity musician/rap artist. It should not be offensive if that is part of the costume.
Add: She was there with her black friends and they did not seem to have a problem.
Oh my oh my bring on the whiners. There is nothing wrong with her costume. I would have no peoblem is a black person whited their face if they wanted to look like a favorite charater/person.
"In one photo, she is posing with two black women. Another shows her with two people dressed as mariachi performers with fake mustaches and thick eyebrows."
No b******g about this? Our friends south of the border demand equal b******g!

If you had gone thru this thread you would see there are no whiners, I think only 1 or 2 people mentioned it being stupid, the rest of us agree there's no problem.
Although I don't see it as offensive I think it's dumb. My girlfriend dressed up as Tina Turner last year and somehow people still knew who she was without dark makeup on.
I had a Hispanic friend dress up as Mary Kathleen Gallagher back when we were in high school and everybody got it without her putting on light makeup.
Now that I've seen the pictures I think the way she did it was cute and creative; she wouldn't have looked like him without the brown make-up --- I would have just guessed "rapper" but not specifically Lil Wayne. Non-issue for me.
