As we've seen, there is no accounting for massive ignorance in this world. I wonder what he'll do next?

Thanks for posting this follow up information. It's interesting to me that his resignation quite studiously avoided even making a non-apology apology. Most people in his situation at least trot out the "I'm sorry if my actions have offended anyone" BS.

While I think it is good he is not in the capacity to continue trying to push his ignorant views on those he came in contact with during the course of his job, I don't know, it still just don't seem good enough. Him stepping down removed the chance of an example being made of him. It took away the chance of the powers to be, to show that we will not stand for that type of ignorance in todays day and age.

While I think it's good he resigned, it's a shame the couple (who found another JOP to marry them) are still going ahead with their lawsuit. Looks like they want a cash award to pay for a honeymoon. I agreed with their suit in that he helped to bring this case to light and in the hopes of correcting this man's current and past behavior. Now that he's resigned in disgrace, there's really no need for this lawsuit to go any further.
