Let me put my cards on the table:
Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, never existed before 1920.
Jordan didn't exist before 1948.
Pakistan was nowhere to be found before 1947. Bangladesh was born in 1970.
US also has special relations with Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, etc, aiding them with billions. Should we cut off these relations? (In spite of Pakistan being a hornet nest of terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism, we continue sanding tax payers money to the most hateful country...). Should we continue feeding our enemies?
P.S. - When Pakistan was established, millions of Muslims had to relocate from India and millions of Indians went the opposite way.

If the Arab League would not have interfered in 1947 in the Balfour declaration, would be having this conversation now? Think about it, Palestine would have been cut in half. One half would have been called Palestine and the other Israel. Jerusalem would have been a international city to be taken care by both sides.
