Obama had what to do with this? I dont see where he did anything..
His administration did it. He gets blamed for everything, why not let him get a little credit, too?

So why not LIE and PRETEND that the DOT, and the COURTS are Obama

Man you guys want Obama to have all of the credit for actions taken by OTHERS but none of the blame from HIM

Obama had nothing to do with this ruling. The occupant of the White House was immaterial to the outcome of the lawsuit filed, and the "oversight" of Bush's "midnight" policies was not even a factor. The lawsuit was settled by DOT by its agreement to rescind the policy and start from scratch with another one,...rather than going to court. The lawsuit was apparently filed in March.

But,...let's give the administration some credit. It needs to have a feather here and there,....they are so few and far in between.

I dont know if anyone has said this yet, but The Obama has saved truckers in a great way here!

The Evil Bush wanted to allow truckers to dive up to 11 consecutive hours. The Obama wants to save them by only allowing 10 consecutive hours....

What an awesome thing! ONE WHOLE HOUR!

haha, if we are playing "pretend here" that Obama had anything to do with this, lets look at the outcome...

"Obama wants to destroy food by allowing them to sit in trucks longer and go bad. Why doesnt Obama want our children to have fresh food?

Ultimately this will increases costs of all products because if the truckers are driving less, the costs go up because it takes longer to delivery".. OBAMA, why are you causing inflation?

We could have fun with this by just repeating the same old liberal lies against conservatives, IF Obama had something to do with this, which he didnt..

This is another one of those moments where the news media are doing a terrible disservice to Obama. Why? Because they needlessly hype up the "Obama got rid of Bush-era yadda yadda yadda....," when Americans' really want to hear what Obama is doing to get them a job. The never-ending focus on making sure everyone knows that Obama opposes George Bush's policies does nothing to comfort those that are out of work, and gives the perception that Obama is tackling only nominally-important issues instead of the issues that really matter to people. People could care less about trucker rest requirements when they're struggling to put food on the table. Perception is everything, and it's these types of headlines that makes Obama look like a lightweight.

... as if it is supposed to bring comfort to Americans that our president is such an obsessive control freak, that he is micromanaging our lives, and he personally poured over the DoT regulations and personally took charge of reducing the consecutive hours a truck driver can drive.

I don't care if it was the Obama administration or a lawsuit. Driving hours must be limited for the safety of all the users of the highway. Private trucking concerns would have the drivers operating 24 hours per day if it increased profits.
