Are you referring to the fact that the Republican plan will never be allowed to take up any space in the eventual bill that is defeated on the floor of either house? It won't find its way to either floor for any debate, and we all know it.

how do you even know that poster is a democrat? and if they are; so what? they didn't say "as a democrat, I wonder if it's ok to "Betsy Ross" flags touch the ground"

Reminds me of the scene in Dazed & Confused when the kids are emptying their lockers on the last day of school. "School's out for summer!"

Really why did I say democrats at all? Do you think its republicans putting Obamas face on the flag or putting flags in trash bags and leaving them outsid the dnc convention or the recent one of writing on the flag to support whatever it was for Obama it was on here someplace

So yes democrats should not complain

She didn't say all democrats...just the ones who have defaced the flag...unfortunately they're not here right now so I guess you should not complain about people dropping the flag because other democrats have defaced the flag therefore removing your right to complain about the treatment of the flag...because other people defaced it.

Based on the crowd, I would say most are retired, which I find particularly galling since they most likely already have coverage.
