How horrible. I am feeling so, so sad for everyone affected. May all the wounded recover.

A senior administration official told NBC News analyst Roger Cressey that the suspect who was in custody was an Army major with an Arabic-sounding name. I will be surprised if they are not muslim.

I would have expected something like this under an army conscripted, not an all volunteer army.

Probably one of the military's own who blew a gasket.
Sadly, if this is true, one can attribute such an extreme act of violence as collateral damage and something that goes with the territory, unfortunately.

Enough things like this occur........will be cause more than ever.....for the govt. to desire all troops to be of artificial intelligence, i.e. robots......void of emotion, conscious, question or reason.
Programmable and millions strong.

Shooting took place at readiness center. Shooting soldier had two handguns. Two other possible suspects at Walmart on base - swat team called and they were apprehended. Soldiers shot were getting ready to be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan (were having some kind of ceremony at readiness center). One policeman killed. Heard on cb radio the soldier who did the shooting was a Major in the Army - can't confirm. Think shooter was shot and killed.
