Hang in there Diva. I'll pray for them and for all the other troops there. Let us know if they are okay.

I'm sure that was the case. The guy killed these soldiers motivated by vengence for how the US treats Muslim Nations.

We bomb these countries, we kill their civilians, we occupy their countries, we support their dicatorships and monarchies, we make excuses for Israel's brutality, we break International Law, we torture suspected prisoners and then cover it all up.

Just today 22 CIA operatives were convicted in a Italian court in abstentia for kiddnapping and torture on an innocent man.

The suspected gunman in the Fort Hood shooting has been identified as Major Malik Nadal Hasan. He was killed and two other suspects have been apprehended, according to Army Spokesman Lt. General Robert W. Cone.
A defense official speaking on condition of anonymity to the AP says Hasan was a mental health professional — an Army psychologist or psychiatrist.
There are unconfirmed reports that Major Hasan was a convert to Islam and originally from Virginia. He was reportedly scheduled to deploy to either Iraq or Afghanistan and was unhappy about it

I just heard he was a mental health worker.

If you people can't see that this man was selected because of his "expertise in mental health matters" (because he's the one least likely to be suspected to go "full metal jacket") recruited to Islam and converted schooled and brainwashed into the fold and then hooked up with a couple other conspirators to ATTACK OUR MILITARY FROM THE INSIDE.

No doubt about it.

This is an unfortunate event.

The man is mentally disturbed without a doubt.

At least the conspirators are alive to face the military court.

That is very disturbing if that turns out to be true.

I agree with you on all points..however you quoted my comments about Religion/Culture...How do the political discrepancies by the U.S which you just highlighted, justify an attack by ONE OF US (an AMERICAN citizen serving the govt.), ON US?

If he were from one of those countries that we have mistreated, then perhaps his discontent could be understandable. But some faux-Islamic lunatic from Virginia!? ... please.

My hearts and prayers go out to the Food Hood victims and their families.

Sadly, eight years later, Ms Noonan was correct in her assessment.

Under the cirumstances, we must be wary of young Arab men.

You are correct. Very similar to the Fort Dix plot that was disrupted.
