When the word finally comes out about this massacre at the US Army base at Fort Hood, and it is without a doubt the result of a premeditated attack by an Islamic extremist and his two conspirators to attack the Army base from the inside what will you say?
The poster will tell you it's just a cycle of violence. The Taliban will praise the shooter just as you praise the soldiers who are occupying Muslim countries against their will along with not giving a damn about the innocent women and children being killed.
There are actual threads in this forum started by right wingers praising and supporting the torture of suspected terrorists.
Thanks LML. The boys--I will always think of them that way even though they are soldiers--are fine. I just talked to my mom, who they are still close to. They called to check in. No more info because they had dozens of calls to make.

Most Americans do NOT see a terrorist in EVERY Muslim, however, I do see that most terrorist attacks are backed by Muslims. I am waiting for you to provide me information that would prove that wrong.

People are dead, more people are injured in hospitals and they could die.
Excuse my language, but seeing this horrible event turned into a political ***** fight already is absolutely disgusting. People have had their lives changed forever because their loved one is now dead. Who knows how many people are unaware about how their loved ones are doing? There are still many parents who are terrified that their son or daughter may be dead. There are children now who will never get to know one of their parents. Or maybe even both of their parents because we still don't know the extent of what happened.
Seeing the political crap which is already transpiring is terrible, shameful and pathetic.
There is no possible way for me to ignore the political side of this attack.

Agreed, saw no smiles or punchlines and the shout out was to a congressional medal winner. Hardly any cause to call our president shameful. The speech was already set up before the shooting. So of you really need to get a life.

I,too,saw his speech.
I found it ironic that he didn't immediately open his speech by commenting on the Fort Hood tragedy ( he is the Commander In Chief)
Instead he carried out his talks addressing the conference of Indians for quite awhile before mentioning the Fort Hood murders that was dominating the news.
This was a shooting of US servicemen on a US Army base and Commander in Chief Obama should have addressed it first. (IMHO)
The shooter was a HIGHLY educated medical professional a specialist in the mental health field.
Yes, and that's what I personally find disturbing! Couldn't care less about his ethnic background, absolutely do care that he was an MD and specialized in PTSD counseling! And, if it does turn out that he and a couple of buddies had their own jihad going, that does NOT change my opinion about muslims!
