To everyone who hate the idea of a social health care system please sign this petition attached below.

Stop Socialized Medicine! Pledge to Refuse Medicare Coverage Now and Forever!

It states that you will not accept medicare when you get older and retire. I would also encourage you to reject other socialist type programs such as public schools, police, fire departments, and the military.

I urge you the next time your house is on fire to call a private agency to help. Please do the same when a robber breaks into your house. Also you must be willing to send all of your children to private schools. After all social programs are not for us.

This is a conundrum.

I do not agree with income redistribution and governmental meddling in my life. But, I have already been forced to pay so much into Medicare that I feel that it is somewhat acceptable for me to partake in its benefits.

I would prefer that the program be abolished, but if it has already stolen a bunch of my money am I not entitled to its largesse?

I want a Universal Health Care System for all our residents supported by a progressive income tax without any private insurance company involvement.

I will NOT sign your petition.

Think you might be misunderstanding it, I want what you want. The petition actually for all the people against govt run health care. If they are against it they should not partake in it in any form.

Man collapses during Republican Rally against Health Care - pics - Democratic Underground

Shouldn't he have turned down the services of the EMTs considering these people don't want "socialized" anything?

Eh.... I am not 100% sure the OP understands the Healthcare debate. You are over-simplifying things. You need to think about how a Socialized plan can be payed for. Or, do you just not care?

I at least wish both sides could agree on Tort Reform. That would be a good start.

Could you answer the question instead of deflecting it to Tort Reform?
