Republicans opposing dems proposals, obviously.

And look at them constantly crying about Obama tax cuts.

Yes, I must have missed it. Show me again how corporate tax rates were cut.

And quite obviously Bush cuts didn't do the job since unemployment started skyrocketing in 2007, while he was still in office.

If they Republicans favor cutting corporate taxes then why the hell didn't they cut them when they had control of every branch of the government?
The democrats in the senate blocked all efforts. You can do that when the majority doesn't have 60 - which was true when the GOP/dems traded the majority in the 90's.

Except for now, the dems do have 60....but still.....

You mean the partisanship that keeps Democrats from analizing these very ideas. We finally agree...

Remind me again who just raised taxes on "the wealthy"..

I now return you to your regularly scheduled MSNBC..
Taxes were raised? Can you provide the link showing the bill that was passed that did so? You think unemployment went up because of Obama? First off the unemployment rate was going up due things that happened before Obama was even elected. Secondly, are you a socialist I ask since you seem think the government is supposed to run the economy, create jobs and solve all our problems, especially in the private sector.

So you want to compare giving tax cuts to citizens as interference in our lives?

How does giving us a real tax cut , Give business a real tax cut interfer in our lives?

Interfering is creating bigger gov and more gov programs letting me keep my hard earned money is the right thing to do.

Oh yeah and cut spending in dc. Heck he could save us a lot of money simply by using web cast and not flying around the country so much

Non Sequitur....

I'm not talking about jobs. I'm talking about two companies reporting profit after receiving TARP and you defending their profits. It all seems, oh I dunno...severely hypocritical. In other words, same ole same ole.

More Democrats excuse for failures OBVIOUSLY.. Since Republicans can jump off chairs and shout and scream all they want but they cant stop Dems from passing their bills.

You can lie, cheat, ignore, or just pretend but the facts are very clear..

Your claim was that Obama should get back to work to deal with unemployment. Which goes against your day-in-day-out "less government" mantra repeated ad nauseum around these parts. Change the subject to avoid my point, but you're still a hypocrite. You come online and whine against big government one day, then whine the next day because government isn't doing enough. You think people don't see this?

This whole thread is about jobs, and if you want to talk about TARP, what would the unemployment numbers be like if these companies all shut down.

They were loaned CHEAP capital until they could turn themself around, its a fact. Now they are profiting. I thought you guys all thought Obama buying into these companies were good due to "profits to the taxpayers", now you guys are changing your stance. make up your minds will you?
