Sort of how the Salem witches got famous, isn't it???
The Dems would be better served if they cleaned their house and admitted that there could a tiny shred of possibility that some of their programs are run by corrupt people.

And no, that was not my story but that certainly were your words that twisted my "you don't know that for sure" statement to suit your argument.

Yeah, ACORN's purpose is to advance and protect the housing, educational, workplace, financial, and voting rights of those living in the primarily urban minority and low- and moderate-income neighborhoods that they serve. Imagine the idea that THOSE sorts of people should have any rights, eh...

The Soviet Union's intended purpose was to make all people equal. As they say, the path to hell is paved with good intentions.

More Salem witch trial guilty-until-proven-innocent? You're good buddies are running a smear campaign.

How else do you explain it? Are you going to claim that ACORN managers are telling canvassers to fill out and submit bogus registration cards in the hope that nobody will notice and people will actually be able to vote 25 times at the same precinct?

Or will you admit the fact that out of the thousands of canvassers ACORN hires for each registration drive, some try to cheat the system all on their own. Will you admit the fact that ACORN runs one of the most comprehensive card verification systems of any major registration drive, endeavoring to contact every single individual who registers in one of their drives? Will you admit the fact that in most jurisdictions, it is mandatory to turn in every card completed, even if it is blatantly bogus? Will you admit the fact that the vast majority of those charged with committing voter registration fraud as part of any ACORN drive were originally fingered by ACORN who then turned them and the evidence against them over to authorities?

Which will it be?

ACORN offices, all over the country, are now being investigated for voter fraud. All I can say is, it is about time.

IMO, ACORN will go totally away within the year.

I just had a thought ..

What if? ...

What if the investigations were so intense and thorough, that in after breaking so many laws and ignoring so many protocols, it was found, via Acorn, that Obama wasn't our President afterall?

Like I said ... it was just a thought

Note;

What if voter fraud was so massive that it turned out that McCain was the winner?
6% isn't really that much of a margin you know ..

I never made any such claim. I said there were enough accusations and funny stuff going on with them that an investigation got started.

This raid is good. It will uncover the truth (I hope).

Corruption happens to the best of people and programs and organizations.
Once it becomes corrupt it no longer holds the respect for what it did and becomes suspect in everything it does after the first accusation.

If they have bad apples running in the top ranks that serves no good to the people they are supposed to be helping. Wouldn't you at least agree to that much ?

Speaking of satanic ends, did you you know that if eligible minority and low- and moderate-income voters had actually voted at the same rate that eligible more upscale white voters did in 2006, there would have been 7.5 million more ballots cast? In 2008, ACORN succeeded in getting nearly a million of those previous non-voters to the polls, and the Republicans DO NOT want to see any more of that!!! The reason they are running these anti-ACORN smear campaigns is not just their desire, but their need to assure that no more of these eligible ACORN voters are ever able to make their way to the polls.

Aren't you proud?

I assume that with your vast legal background and judicial experience, you are aware of the difference between voter fraud and voter registration fraud. Please point to any past instance of ACORN being charged with actual voter fraud, or any current case where there is any investigation into actual voter fraud.
