Perhaps they have less poor people and people the population has more choice because all of the nations resources aren't concentrated in the hands of a tiny minority.
This is a whole seperate worthy debate.
The debate between:
A world where man can more easily reach his potential
vs
A world where everyone is given the same
I think either way the resources will be concentrated in a minority, but that minority is pretty large in America.

I always wanted to go west, particularly the southwest, it sounds great, like a land little changed by time. I wouldn't try surviving down there though without a good chunk of change first. When's the best time to visit? I've been mentally planning this trip a couple years now.
