Truly shameful. Every world leader will be in attendance, except for obama. Where is he? Campaigning again? What about Joe? Campaigning in Detroit.

Berlin Wall blunder

Quote:
For Obama, America is but one nation among many, no different -- or more exceptional -- than any other. Its record is one that, increasingly, he has felt compelled not to extol but to apologize for.

And, for this president, ideologies bent on America's destruction must be met not with resistance but with rhetoric, outreach and "understanding."
My god, what a disgrace he is.

My god, what a disgrace he is.
If he had gone you'd be complaining about him being over there hanging around with Socialists

Default Obama takes heat for skipping Berlin Wall anniversary

He has time to attend Corzine's campaign's more than ones, he has time for all te people who pay enough to him to stay at the WH and get private time with him, playing golf, going out on the town, flying to try to get the Olympics to the US (IMO the Olympics shouldn't be a political issue but a Sports event, and politics should stay out!), etc...

But to speak up for the people of Iran who now in their own language are shouting "bama are you with usor with them"...meaning are you helping us the people who want deocracy or are you with our president who wants to wipe Israel of the map and hae us shut up!

Or to go what is a very important time in history and spread the word about freedom in Berlin...."I'm a Berliner, Tear down that Wall, but Obama is just stating "I'm a beginner"!

Tell us all about all the anniversary visits that Bush paid to the Berlin Wall.

Then, do two more things.

1. relax

2. stow your phony outrage

So reassuring to know that the Anti-Obama crowd is being consistent in their irrational Obama hatred.

Had Obama made the decision to go to Berlin, he would have been called disrespectful for not going to Fort Hood in the wake of that tragedy.

Obama also would have been chided for not caring enough about the Health Care Reform vote in the House and would have been labeled as disinterested.

No matter what Obama decides to do in his role as President of the United States he will be criticized.....pointlessly.

How are those seeds you guys planted working out for you? How quickly you forgot about the same thing you're complaining about with Obama happening to Bush for eight years. Thankfully Obama won't be in office more than four.

It's good PR to go and good for the realtionship with allies, but I don't see this a huge offense.

Was Obama even invited?

Maybe Germany sees this a national thing that they want to commemorate w/o the USA sticking its nose in.

I don't know if he was invited or not. I haven't really researched the story very much because it's not that high on my list of priorities.
