There is no reason why an average America citizen could not afford to buy their own health care insurance.

The democrats have the presidency, they have both houses of congress, and they have a super majority which allows them to pass any bill they choose. If they wanted to... they could find ways to correct the causes behind the high costs of health care, so that the average America citizen could afford to buy their own health care insurance.

But instead the democrats choose the lazy way out from doing any any meaningful reform, so they simply take taxpayer money to pay for these high costs in health care, and we are forced to absorb the costs.

Is there anything congress is doing to reduce the high costs for medical college and university tuition? Tuition keeps going up, outpacing both inflation and family income, and a doctor who is in a specialty field will require up to 16 years of college.

Is there anything congress is doing to reduce the high costs of medical malpractice insurance that hospitals and doctors are paying?

Is there anything congress is doing to reduce the high costs and long delays of getting new drugs and medicines approved and distributed?

If congress was truly interested in the well being of Americans, in regards to health care, they would address the problems associated with the high costs. Instead they choose the coward's way out, as with the high costs of college tuition, and simply use taxpayer money ti line the pockets of the the greedy SOBs that keep ripping off the American people.

Fix what is broken, ans address the underlying problems, not simply wallpaper over them with gobs of taxpayer money; and yet that is exactly what they are doing in congress today.
So TRUE!
Great post!

Oh, and by the way... you're required to sign a document waiving your right to patient confidentiality so that the Dr. can discuss your medical history and medical condition/problems in front of/with the rest of the group.

If every health care bill the democrats propose looks worse then the ones before it, we have a right to be very apprehensive, and to once again sound a warning. If I see kids tossing rocks at my house, I do not have to wait until they break a widow before I take action to prevent it.

Hey, lets all sign up for a group doctor visit with Jill, that would be a reason to possibly celebrate. I'm hoping she's attractive.

I never said there was one. Just that dropping coverage is an option for employers already, that simply won't change after the reform.

Excellent point. Somalia is right wing Republican ideology carried to its logical conclusion.

You can thank that greedy SOB "Sallie Mae" who was/is still subsidized by the federal government. Do they still accumulate interest on interest on the student loans like they did with the HEAL student loan for med students? Insurance companies and Sallie Mae - All sucking on the tit of the federal government and tax payers. When the government wants to cut if off - they cry like a baby.
