So Obama and the insurance companies were in bed together, very interesting.

The governmental health care program I would support would be like the one the receptionist I see often has. She and her husband are both retired military and they pay a whopping $200 a year for their plan which recently paid the entire bill for her husbands $500,000 surgery. The military deserves such a plan but wouldnt it be lovely if the plan Pelosi is shoving down our throats only cost this much money? I would support it hands down.

Can you quote ANY paragraph of the bill stating that wheelchairs (for example) are or will be taxed? I am not going to hold my breath.

Section 552 creates a 2.5% tax on every medical device sold for use. Esimated revenue-$20 billion.

I have TRICARE and it ain't that good.

Two types. Standard and Prime. Prime is an HPO/HMO type with a premium but virtually no doctors accept it. Tricare Standard is more or less universially accepted. It comes without a premium but has a deductible and co-pay. That's the short version, there's more.

I find it hard to grasp how a retired service member had $500K of medical service with no co-pay or deductible. Then again when the spouse is the Speaker of the House . . .

Who said anything about power wheel chairs? Medical devices-regular wheelchairs, crutches, pacemakers.

Read the bill-the actual bill. Section 552.

You're the one making the assertion without providing the resource. Your assertion amounts to little more than rumor. I've already done what I'm supposed to do, provide links to researched answers by reputable sources.

You sure you didn't get "sec 552" from an email or blog?

Thanks for the link but it's not taking me to any document.
