I consider quitting my job every Monday morning.
I don't do so because I want/need the money and my fabulous lifestyle.

They're free to do what they see fit for themselves.

Bologna poll! Lots of people "consider" quitting their jobs, getting into another field, or retirement every day.

You don't need legislation for that...

That is right along the lines of the few medical field acquaintances, that I know. They all said they would not and cannot be forced to comply. The people the work in the federal and state funded hospitals will be the rookies and poor performers. Private practice will soar. They all say it will actually raise cost of healthcare, as they have to run their practices as a business to stay in business.
How many public funded hospitals are basically bankrupt? Most of it is the burden illegal aliens and no income patients, place on them.

They all tell of the existing universal no cost healthcare we have now.
§ 1395dd. Examination and treatment for emergency medical conditions and women in labor.

(a) Medical screening requirement In the case of a hospital that has a hospital emergency department, if any individual (whether or not eligible for benefits under this subchapter) comes to the emergency department and a request is made on the individual’s behalf for examination or treatment for a medical condition, the hospital must provide for an appropriate medical screening examination within the capability of the hospital’s emergency department, including ancillary services routinely available to the emergency department, to determine whether or not an emergency medical condition (within the meaning of subsection (e)(1) of this section) exists.

Illegal aliens and the homeless, along with very low income families use this service provided by the taxpayer.

45% of American doctors quitting? I'll bet that creates lots of new employment at medical schools for the people who'll jump at the chance to fill the void!

And, how many YEARS do you think it would take to fill the void with QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED Doctors? 5? 10? 15? More?
